I can't edit my profile.
I eventually figured out what the mystery mod crack was and tryed to change my own but the edit profile button at the bottom just takes me back to the home page.

Had that problem too. But on the banner at the top of each page, if you click Settings under your username you can edit you profile there

Hola guys.

I will fix this stuff when I get a laptop, and a stable connection. I'm in the civilized world now, so it shouldn't be too long.

Soz for the fuss, Chris shouldn't have put this version up, it's a right mess...

Welcome back!

I wouldn't call it a mess. Just a bit of getting used to. Most of the early feedback was just trying to figure out how to do simple things. Few teething problems, but I really like it now.

Plus the shoutbox is fixed. I like that very much

I'll be on a workable computer in about 5 days, and I'll be all over these problemos.

Shouldn't take me more than a night to fix them all.

Andrew and I were in the US at the same time, even the same PARTS of the US at the same time! (I did not see him.)

My only request is that we have the 'read all posts' thing back in the threads if possible, as in loading ten pages into one.

Good work Andre, great work!

Now to load back my wombat picture for the 4 millionth time (if I can find it..)

Still has some.... Interesting bugs though, like the fact this reply is on page 11, but page 11 is also the last page just gone?

I think the clock's f*cked as well cos it had me posting at ten a.m. and I didn't get out of bed till half past..........

Yeah, i've had that happen as well.

you need to put [br] after each line to make it break

e.g. mine reads [br]Nerds do it rarely.

all as one line when it's not... thingied

Can we get something in the black bar at the bottom to make finding pages easier? For example, if a thread is 100 pages and I know something is on page 60, I have to continuously trawl through each page to get it. Could there maybe be a 'Skip 10 pages' arrow type button or something, similar to the 'go to first/last page button'

I'll have a think about the best way to do that, and see what comes up

Can we get that five minute grace back when we edit a post before it says it? I can have an afterthought or correct a typo and it looks like I've been a Stalinist backtracker at the moment.

Did we ever have something like that? I think the Preview Post is gone, might be handy to have it back alright

Yeah it used to be if you edited a post within 5 mins of posting it didn't say it had been edited. I liked that, I hate editing a post to correct a typo now cause it always looks like I've altered what I said or something...

Oh yeah, that does sound a bit familiar now that you (plural) mention it alright

The random quotes are back

The forum select page looks slightly different, probably to highlight when a new post has been made

I miss being able to view past posts from peoples profile.
It was always a good way to waste half an hour.
Oh and my profile picture has disappeared.

Yeah, i miss that. i also miss polls.

My favourite thing about the changes is that i like The Shoutbox being archived.

I agree, and I'm glad it doesn't say (replying) after peoples names in the threads because that used to sometimes be a lie, and it made me ever so slightly paranoid.

Yeah, i used to get a bit paranoid about that as well.

You can see 'em now - check someone's profile. It's better than before too, because you can see every single post they've ever made. Even the really embarrassing ones from 7 years ago... *cringe*

And your picture has disappeared because whoever owned the picture has deleted it off their site - upload it to VR and it'll never go away.

I suggest everyone uploads their avatar, even if it's working at the moment - because I'll be turning off the ability to link to an external site for an avatar in the future, and you don't want your pic disappearing!
