That's the story of my life actually.

Salad Cream Passion, starring Danny DeVito as That Thing, coming to a cinema somewhere close enough for you to go to, if you can find a free weekend, this August.

ah I get it now. Who knew learning could be educational?

Never read Romeo and Juliet. We did The scottish Play which was alright

(is there some filter that turns The scottish Play to The Scottish Play. Cos if so Andrew you are brilliant. Thats so cool)

I'd love to take credit. So I will. Even though someone else actually did it.

The scottish Play

It was Hamlet we did. Also some play about the wives of IRA terrorists. Intreuging. And then there was the Plath...oh God the Plath. I got the exact percentage required for an A in my higher, which was lucky to say the least.

Otherwise I'd have had to resit Hamlet and the Plath and it's safe to say I wouldn't have lived to tell the tale.

oh yeah, we watched it in most lessons.

but then someone in the class wanted to go and see blood brothers, so we had to do that instead.
totally unfair.

the set texts that I ended up doing weren't ones I'd have chosen to be honest:
Blood Brothers
Tess of the D'Urbervilles

and our media coursework was comparing the Baz Lehrman and the Franco Zeffirelli versions of Romeo and Juliet. not so good because I don't own either and we didn't even watch the whole of each in class because we wasted so much time watching The damned Crucible.

actually, we wasted loads of time on plays we didn't do. We also did Educating Rita, and Our Day Out in some sort of Willy Russel love.
I can barely remember the ones we did

We did Our Day Out too! (and in Drama!)
