Hair actually turned out okay yesterday other than for one orange tuft on the top of my head, but i can live with that. Better than the 4" of brown roots up there
*since I crashed my car, there's been a knocking sound coming from the passenger wheel when turning sharply*
(2 days after crash) Me: Maybe it's the CV joint? Wasn't there a similar noise from the Corolla and that's what the problem was? Dad: I thought that too, but Jim (Dad's brother, a Peugeot mechanic) says the CV joints never give trouble on these. Me: Yeah but, the car was crashed, so surely just because it doesn't usually give trouble doesn't mean the crash couldn't have damaged it? Dad: Eh..... No.... Jim says he's never seen any of them ever giving trouble. He thinks it must be something else. He says he doesn't even know of anyone who orders in CV joints for them.
(2 months after crash) Me: That knocking noise is getting worse. I still think it's the CV joint, it's the same thing that's happening as when it happened to the Corolla Dad: Ah sure... may try and order one and see I suppose. Jim still doesn't think that's the problem though
(2 days later aka last night. We're about to replace the CV joint) Dad: Still don't think this is the problem, and by taking it apart, could end up causing problems.... Try it anyway I suppose...
It was the CV joint. There's not a f*cking peep out of the wheel now. This is pure vindication for me. I don't know what a CV joint does and I don't care. I just really wanted to highlight the stupidity of my uncle's opinion (who hadn't even seen the or inspected the car) that because they never give trouble, it couldn't be the problem. EVEN THOUGH THE CAR WAS CRASHED AND HIT A TELEPHONE POLE RIGHT WHERE THE CV JOINT IS, BECAUSE THAT COULDN'T HAVE POSSIBLY MEANT THAT IT COULD HAVE DAMAGED IT EVEN THOUGH THEY NEVER USUALLY GIVE TROUBLE. WHICH IS WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING FOR TWO MONTHS NOW! ASSCLOWN!
JUSTICE!
Mal: Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us? Zoë: Big damn heroes, sir. Mal: Ain't we just.
(Today, i saw a small bug, a butterfly, a man wearing salmon-coloured shorts and a man wearing a salmon-coloured shirt. And the fiancé bought me some cakes from Greggs.)
Looks like I am indeed moving out of home. Went to see a place today, should do fine. Actually, much better than my last place for the same price. Should be perfect.

(i saw another snail and i rescued a worm. The worm was on the pavement and i was worried that someone might stand on her. So i put her on some grass.)
(Edit: Also, i found one of my purses a few minutes ago. There's a £10 note and some change in it.)

New Arrested Development was awesome. Not its best stuff for obvious reasons, but still worth the wait. Just great to see new episodes, and there were some very funny moments.

(i found 1p a couple of days ago. Also, i spoke to my aunt and she told me that one of my second cousins will be starting secondary school later this year. She also told me that he still has the toy dog that i bought him when he was a baby. Aw.
When i was in Cardiff yesterday, i saw a unicyclist.
(The fiancé bought me Gu and chocolate raisins. Yesterday, i saw two butterflies. And a bin that had I love dogs written on it. And a picture of a dog and some paw prints.)
(Also, he bought me two bobbles and a pair of earrings yesterday. And he bought me some Italian cakes today.)
Was worried I'd be invited to a colleague's stag and wedding. Even though weddings can be good craic, the only people I'd know would be my bosses, so the stag and wedding would be crap.
Luckily, the stag is on the same weekend as my mother's birthday and my parent's anniversary, and the wedding is on the weekend of my father's 60th birthday. GO-GO-GADGET-reasonableexcuses!
