I went to the shops on a quest to get bread
But everyone there had all lost their head
The shelves were bare, the staff were stressed
Was this real, or some kind of test?
The fabled bread was nowhere to be seen
And the alternatives were all pretty lean
And of toilet roll there was not a trace
Apparently I was the last in the race
So I went back home, feeling rather glum
With not a crumb or a sheet for my bum
