Because, of course, since the Green party is a small party, it couldn't possibly have devised the idea first or devised the idea independantly of the LIb Dems, they must have stolen it.

As Emma said, bad wording on my behalf. Although it's unlikely that they came up with a policy so similar without some consideration, and personally I'd say the Lib Dems had it first. But what do I know

And Kim, I think that's actually what the Lib Dems do want to do. There's one benefit to that, and that's being able to control sales and gain tax from the drug. I'd say the reasoning behind it is that less people die smoking Cannabis use than from tobacco and alcohol abuse. Saying that, I don't think it's a particularly good idea; almost like condoning the use of drugs, even if it is soft ones. *Is reminded of High Society by Ben Elton*

I don't think Veritas is mentioned. Mind you, it would have had to have another question to show Veritas:

From what I've heard it's something they'd consider doing, but it's not one of their major policies and isn't really a reason not to vote for them.

And that's the attitude that means they won't ever win. Well, never say never, but still. I guess that's just the way the world works.

Saying that, I can't see Kennedy being a particularly great leader; Lib Dems aren't really in the best place to get into power right now, even if it was a possibility.

I'm not even particularly pro Lib-Dem, there's just nobody else I'd want to vote for!

It'd be pointless voting for a party you don't believe in.

You realise, of course, that that banner would make me even less inclined to vote Lib Dem than I normally would, seeing as I'm in a place which is coloured gray and therefore the Lib Dems have no chance, even under the auspices of this probably over-optimistic poll?

And you realise they did the same with their newspaper-style "election communication" which included a bit about their target seats which came through the post yesterday, which, of course, I was not a part of and therefore they are basically admitting, in an election communication to my house, that they couldn't win in my area if they tried?

Amateurs. Bloody amateurs. You want to know why people are unsure? Try stuff like that, speaking from a purely political point of view.

I partly agree that its pointless to vote for a party you dont believe in, but for some its hard to believe in any party. They dont exactly make it easy for people to understand who stands for what, you know.
Furthermore, i believe in the Greens more than Lib Dems, but i'll be voting for the Lib Dems purely because they have quite a decent chance of winning my constituency.

For this area, it should be Lib Dem, but it'll be Conservative.

At the moment, I despise the Tories.

I'm still struggling to believe that he will be Sir John now.

Should I? Someone persuade me to do it.

Some of the best Tory-poster-defacing was on the mock election posters at school. Probably stolen from an anti-website but anyway. On the 'vote conservative' line they'd crossed out letters so it read 'Vote Conservative' instead.
