Hellfire, just worked out to be taxed 6 grand you'd have to be on 24k a year 
It'll be at least a year before I'm on that FFS. I'm being done for £4,600 a year at the moment, in tax.
Edit: Well, for standard salary anyway. I can do overtime at an hourly rate of £16 an hour, which is extra and optional, but limited.

Tax is a sh*tter but the more you earn the more you pay, so the key is to earn loads

I'm gonna start putting in for 4 hours overtime a week, which would put me on nearly 23k a year.
In 10 weeks my wage is supposed to go up 3 grand though, so chances are they won't give me the overtime at that point, but if they did I'd be laughing. Then it'd be a case of working hard until next February, and then I'll get my 1,000 yearly increment and bonus
