"No, love. I've got the last five episode of the Wire to be watching."

How much of an incredible band Alice in Chains was.

With the recent anniversary of Stayley's death and the recent passing of Mike Starr, focusing on the brilliance they recorded in their lives rather than the shocking manner of their deaths has been a great source of pleasure.

Cracking night out last night with a few of the old college lads. Heads banging like a drumkit falling down stairs.
Mal: Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us?
Zoë: Big damn heroes, sir.

no hate here, glad for you mate I bet Darren is fuming into his f*cked Macbook though
I admit to having some laptop envy, but I care not. I'll have a working machine or an upgrade when I finally get around to talking to Apple about it.

Also, Andy… jammy git

Though it seems after paying a quid.. yes a QUID for OS7.5 on floppy from Ebay I may be getting a Mac Classic for free now…

System 7.5 is a free download from Apple - check their FTP site.

Bought all three seasons about a year ago. They were all still in the plastic wrapping on my shelf. Until two weeks ago. I took down Season 1, ripped off the plastic wrapping....

.... and put it back on the shelf. Watched Sons of Anarchy again. I might start tearing into Deadwood over the weekend (finished Red Dead Redemption last week so in a wild west state of mind). Mortal Kombat and Portal 2 will probably take up most of my time though.

Have heard nothing but good things about Deadwood. I just hate the start of new shows. F*ck, I stopped watching The Wire after 4 episodes cos I thought it was kinda sh*t until I decided a week later that I may as well finish off the first season.

I will get round to Deadwood though, is basically the point I'm trying to make here.

I was into it completely by the second episode. Just a... brain scrapingly good show. Going to take a break before I do season two, but looking forward to it.

Next on the agenda is Dr Who series three. I have to be in the right mood for Dr Who. It doesn't quite live up to staying up as late as I can justify, until I "one-more-episode" myself into three o' clock in the morning. It's prime early weekend afternoon fare.

Aye. Doctor Who has some really great episodes, the trouble being that too many of the episodes are either "Good" or "Not that great". Which means watching a load of episodes in a row rarely happens as once you even just get a "Good" episode, you're kind of out of the moment.

Some great episodes in Series 3 though.

And while I'm at it, Red Dead Redemption was a fantastic game. Really fantastic. I admit, I had the game before, played a bit of it, then traded it in cos I got bored. But it really sucked me in this time. And once I got into Mexico, I was sold. One of my favourite non-'Assassins Creed' gaming moments of the past few years.

Have Undead Nightmare too but haven't had a chance. Might leave it for a while.
