i had to climb a big hill today. i went out with the fiancé and he'd parked his car near the top of the hill. But i couldn't get to the top. i climbed as far as i could but i started to get out of breath and feel dizzy. So i had to sit on some steps and wait for the fiancé to drive round. i would've been able to climb it before i broke my ankle, though.

Necessity is the mother of invention.

Hunger is invention's grandmother.

I listen to about 9 different podcasts. But they're all Kevin Smith ones, so I doubt you'll be too interested. There are some excellent ones giving great insight into the inner workings of the film and entertainment worlds, but for every one of them there are about 19 "Would you suck a dying man's d*ck if you were the reason he was dying?" type ones

Other than that, I think I sent you the link for the Gervais/Merchant/Pilkington Xfm radio shows before, so thats all I have.

And now that this is on a new page and I didn't quote the previous post, it sounds like I'm advocating the use of steel-toed boots as a means of contraception and sexual enhancement. Nice.

I wore these yesterday walking to the shop and this morning while digging my car out of the snow until I discovered I had my Rockwoods in the boot (the Rockwoods were meant to be part of my Halloween costume but ended up not going so I forgot I had them)

Just hope all the time spent in the snow won't have damaged them. I like them.

I don't think it will, he's been happily settled down and responsible for a couple of years hasn't he?

Without the temptations that mainstream celebrity offers, though.

He's doing really well for himself. In an odd way, I'm really proud of him.

He looks better now than he ever has. A career resurgence can only mean more exposure for his fantastic music as well so it's a win all round.

Did you ever check out his solo album?

People are surprised at what a consistent artist he is.

Not a win there, then, but the country loves him.
