1. !!! Poor kitty... *hugs from me too*
2. My internet at the flat not working, and it doesn't seem to be a temporary server error, probably something frustrating with my laptop.
3. Might I advise anyone and everyone against the Sennheiser PMX 50 backband headphones available for £25 at HMV, Fopp and wherever? Not only are they far cheaper online, they're very uncomfortable, don't really stay on, have inferior (yet decent) quality for their price range and the glue in the jack of my pair has come undone after two weeks of normal, careful use. Avoid. Evade. I hope my new JVCs arrive soon. No more "Oh, what the hell, it'll be okay" purchases for me.

If you sent it by Royal Mail, I wouldn't worry. Any time I've used Royal Mail lately, it hasn't arrived.

The pending extinction of "-t" in words such as "spelt" and "burnt".

Do not Americanise. Do not add -"ed" to the verb. Use the "-t", I implore you.

Save our "-t"s, peace to small "t"s and please, please don't let it go the way of the dodo.

This has been keeping me awake at night.

I don't add "ed" to the verb, but nor do I pronouce "t"'s when they fall at the end of the word.

I have made a bit of a boo-boo

Instead of reinstalling Vista, I did a system restore to the earliest one possible, presuming it was the same as restoring it to factory settings. It wasnt. Now I'm locked out of the laptop by the admin password they had on it in the shop

Tried pressing F8 when the computer is loading to bring up the menu with Safe Mode, Debugging etc, but theres no option for a complete reboot, even though there is on the old laptop. Going to have to go into them tomorrow, and as well as asking if there was meant to be an OS disc (I see a sticker with the product key on the bottom, so I presume if you restore to factory settings, it'll give you the option to make an OS disk), Now I'm also going to have to ask for their password.

If they dont, I'll start complaining about how the laptop should have been wiped before selling it

“Exhibitions of ethnography and anthropology are objectifications of the anthropological theories of their day.” Discuss and present a reasoned proposal for an exhibition on a topic of your choice, explaining the anthropological theories on which you would draw.

It wouldn't be so bad, except it's 3,000 altogether meaning I have to ration what I want to talk about so it's taking me ages. AND I've gone verb blind. And the f*cking people keep making up words, such as "allochronism". Google that, and check out the first link. Ugh.

Still, I think I'm 1,000 words down now!

There you go. You're beating than that Essay total b*st*rd. Every right thinking person's on your side.
