Alan, please tell me you pronounce it with 'I Don't Like' as an open phrase serving as a kind of adjective to the noun 'Mondays'.
That wasn't explained very well. I mean, like Drive-In Saturdays and Naked Wednesdays.

Well, I will now.

Do you mean "I don't like [imperceptible pause] Mondays"?

It's more "I-Don't-Like Mondays". Or ""I Don't Like..." Mondays".

...hold on; let me get my microphone.

I hate it but I'm stuck with it now after putting so much on there. It's so f*cking fussy and unable to handle formatting. Blogspot is so much simpler.

Having tried both, Blogspot is simpler to use, but I like what you can do with Wordpress, and haven't found it particularly fussy, though of course YMMV. I've heard good things about Moveable Type.

Patience, young Padawan.

On a lighter note, you can now all vote on which of these five albums I should destroy as a forfeit for being late with the Yestravaganza*

*possibly not a real word.

I'm not sure whether I should've voted for the best album of those (which I've heard at least once each) or the worst, but I'm doing my best to be nice to you. I think I like Pet Sounds the least. Then Psychocandy. Drums and Wires. Entertainment!. If you destroy a Marquee Moon I may cry.

Highly enjoyable.

Your review, not the album.

Reed claimed there were hidden passages of classical music through out. No doubt he was lying.

Oh gosh - you should not destroy all your good music. - It is really important!
I am worried you will go crazy and kill random people with shards of smashed "Swing When You're Winning" CDs. It would be really terrible!

It's a long-standing disagreement with me and Dan, the Beach Boys thing.  He absolutely adores them and I'm not a fan at all.

I've said this before but it's really odd that so many of my favourite bands were massively influenced by the Beach Boys and the Beatles, and I don't really care for either of them........

Personally, I believe that that if you aren't a fan of the beatles, you shouldn't be allowed an opinion on music.

Well, Elvis was a stooge; The Beatles were composers. I definitely understand your argument much more in the latter case.

I don't think I dislike everything the Beatles are involved with but they have no direct relevance to my tastes. Most of those who cause my tastes, though, are hugely influenced by The Beatles.

Aha; I thought you were quoting my post as an echo of its sentiment back at me, in a confusing manner.

I don't find much of interest in their work. I think not-liking them doesn't require much of an explanation, unless I click an 'Unlike' button or something.
However, I could probably give enough reasons, though I suppose they're the typical reasons for disliking/not-liking them.
