A poem for a past love

My love
now passed
how pass'e.
However did I love you?
you did not see me,
nor feel me.
Would not dream the real me.
I was your dirty blanket
a familar comforting smell.
Of course I was a person too,
hiding in my lovestruck shell.

My love
now past
how pass'e.
However did you love me?
I was just a wet dream
pants creaming fantasy,
inside your husbands bed.
And you told me of his cruelty!
And you LIED about his cruelty!
to a CHILD so cruely treated,
who wanted to make you happy and safe,
hiding in my trauma cracked eggshell skin
I bled my heart to let you in!!

However did you love me?
I the same age as a long lost son,
I am indeed a long lost son
and my daddy has taught me love.

You were lonely,
just lonely and lustful,
I was weak and aiming to please,
you could have had me
could have destroyed me.
You lied to me about love.

There is no reprieve.
