Megazine Letters. - You! Me! Milkshakes!

You! Me! Milkshakes!

Amy said we can make a big interview for the Discussion About Megazine thread. It would be really cool and interesting, I hope. We could ask lots of questions about Megazine and all her letters and bestest Megaziners, and also lots of other questions and word associations too. I hope it is a cool idea. :-[

Please does anyone want to make any questions at-all? - Please can you send them to the Megazine Letters account again. It would be really helpful!

I'm looking forward to this one enormously.

While I'm here (ignore me if it's already happened), am I the only person who would like to see an interview with Little Blue Fox?  It would be really sweet and cool and life-affirming, I think   :-[

Oh, gosh, ok! Thank you for asking me. Please can I be next next? - I have asked another person already.

I sent all the questions to Amy today too.

It hurts too much not to try.

Megazine Letters. - You! Me! Milkshakes!

You! Me! Milkshakes!

*An Interview With TheUnitedTruth.*
Questions by David-James, Strawberry and Stu.

Who are your bestest Mega-ziners ever?
Topper.

Who are your bestest Mega-ziners at the moment?
Little Blue Fox.

Which Mega-ziners do you think are really bad and annoying?
All of them, innit.

Which Mega-ziners have influenced all your letters?
Geoffrey the syphillis, and anyone who has ever contributed to the 'Zine challenges thread.

Where does the inspiration for your letters come from?
A dark room under my stairs, in which I keep Beau Brady in for inspiration.

What types of letters do you think are really neat and cool?
I think it is really cool when people write a letter on a balloon so you have to blow it up. (But if we're on about 'Zine letters then I love Sprinkles the Cat, and other quirky ones, I also think lists can be really amusing).

Someone has to ask where the name TheUnitedTruth came from so it might as well be me.
It is actually a really boring story, but I used to write in and never got my letters printed (probably cos they were gash) but I wrote in this e-mail pretending to be a truth gremlin with secrets about everyone, including WLW, and I said I'd reveal a secret each letter. Obviously that didn't get printed either, but I stuck with the name.

Creative and ignored or boring and famous?
Boring and famous, at least I'd be rich.

How come you started writing lots of Mega-zine letters again?
I got fired from my job and had nothing better to do with my time.

Fudge or Minstrels?
Minstrels of course.

What's your favourite chocolate bar?
Bournville.

Forests or mountains?
Mountains.

Which is your bestest Simpsons character?
Hans Moleman!

What is your favourite Simpsons episode?
Lisa's Rival.

Karl or Lenny?
Lenny.

What is your most bestest soap show?
SUNSET BEACH. The only programme where characters have monologues about their evil plans complete with evil laughs. Also any show with EVIL TWINS wins my vote.

What is your bestest soap?
Clinique clinique clinique. Type 2.

What are your favourite books and movies and bands?
The Bloody Chamber - Angela Carter, The Magic Toyshop (AC),
Stand By Me, The Wedding Singer, 10 Things I Hate About You,
Foo fighters, Jimmy Eat World, [Spunge], Reel Big Fish, LTJ. etc etc Smiley.

Do you feel sort of special and different because you are left-handed?
Yes it makes me feel very sinister.

What is your earliest memory?
Getting lost in the £1 shop when I was trying to buy a pink fluffy bunny.

Who are you closest to in your family?
My Mum.

Which Grandmother were you names after? - Was it your Mother's mother or your father's mother?
My father's mother. She died of lung cancer before I was born.

If aliens asked you to live on their planet for 5 years, would you go?
Only if their planet was made of chocolate and I could gorge on it constantly.

With which historical figures do you identify?
Thomas Bloxham.

Who do you really want to cast witchy love spells on?
Anthony Padilla.

Have you fallen in love ever?
Yes.

Do you wish you could read everyone's thoughts, sometimes? Do you think it would be really scary and terrible? Are you worried everyone can hear all your thoughts sometimes?
I do wish I could read everyone's thoughts sometimes. Though I'd be a bit worried what they were thinking. I think it would be scary sometimes. I am frequently worried that people can hear all my thoughts, so I only think about nice things, like chocolate.

If you were to launch your own perfume, what would it be called and what would be in it?
Sparklesome, and the essence of purple.

What's the difference between a Heffalump and a Puffalump?
A Heffalump is a purple elephant type creature from Winnie the Pooh. A Puffalump is a brightly coloured stuffed animal made of a shell suit type material.

Pretty dress, pretty shoes or pretty drunk?
All three (greedy I know...)

Will you make me another necklace please? (from Stu).
I need inspiration for further necklace making as boys are impossible to make jewellery for.

If you formed a band, what would you call it?
Swirling Irises.

If you were a robot, what robot would you really want to be?
Robot Santa.

*Word Association.*

DeLorean that got struck by lightning...Janus.

Dismantling a person is sometimes necessary...

Nice interview, the best thing about it was the fact I re-read it and it seemed like it was the first time I'd read it all over again. Quite a time I've had today.
I hope some day, for some reason, David Duchovny is investigated by the FBI. Because that would make a great story.
