New Now thinking thread now

If I'm asked to put up the Christmas Decorations at home, I will probably explode. As if I won't have enough to do like cleaning out my room at home for it to be painted, cleaning out the flat in Slane, then moving everything I own back into my bedroom like it's a giant game of Tetris, plus I haven't even done any Christmas shopping yet. And I have to return my own birthday present and exchange it

You ever notice the correlation between someone's capacity for critical thinking and how relentlessly they bum Our Brave Heroes In Iraq? That's interesting. Someone should do a graph.

Or how people who haven't been to University who want student protesters strung up and shot. Idiots.

"Why do they care? Mummy and Daddy probably already paid for theirs..."

Then they're clearly thinking of others.

I like all the posts in this thread so far. Other than Barrys, it would seem cruel to like a post about being frustrated and annoyed.

You can like mine. I'm not that fussed about it, just needed something to kick off te new thread with. If I was that annoyed, I would have posted it in the rants thread

Why is it that when I think about doing something, everyone always seems to say something along the lines of, "Oh that's really hard. There are truly exceptional people who haven't got in...", etc, etc.

FFS, why don't you just say, "You'll never get into that. You're too thick." Because that's just what it sounds like you're saying.

Meh.

Oh gosh - it is really not true! Please do not listen to them at-all.

Howcome they do not say..."Good luck for all the things you want to do.
*good luck hugs*.
Also, I bought you a tiny cake too. I hope it is ok!
Good luck!
Please do not worry!".

It hurts too much not to try.
I will see you in another life when we are both cats.

CGTE's Holiday Podcast made me think: You try and explain the stuff that Kevin McAllister did to poor Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern in the two Home Alone movies to someone who's never seen it and he sounds more evilly sadistic than the Jigsaw killer from the Saw films.

It also snowed here last night. My father rang me today at 10.15 and told me it'd snowed in Wigan. He also asked me if i was watching that Night of Heroes programme. So i said that i wasn't as i was watching Peep Show.

Holy sh*t, fruit and healthy things cures colds.

Also, I've totally frozen my hand with deep freeze, and destroyed my sleeping pattern. This may be bad.

But at least I don't have a cold anymore!

Oh my God.

That may not have been the biggest spot I've ever squeezed, not by a long shot, but it was definitely the biggest eruption. I didn't realise that puss could make a line across the mirror like that, or that it could actually make a psss noise as it squirted out.

I may never recover from this.

i heartily endorse this event or product.

also. f*cking OW.

my back has decided it's going to have a flid and turn all tight & painful
goddamit...

also. either send some snow my way or f*ck off with the cold - i didn;t mind whent here was snow, everything looked pretty so i could deal with the cold, but now this is just stupid.
the frost on top of the hutches looks like shards of bloody glass

Better than the excuse I used walking out of the cinema. They knew there were no bald, anthropomorphic falcons in there. They saw right through my lies.

I took loads of my old toys to the charity shop so they wouldn't feel bad about not being played with anymore

I threw all my sister's toys in the dump so they could be rescued and given to another family.

Why is Paul Whitehouse faking a Geordie accent in the car insurance advert he's in? He's not a Geordie he's bloody Welsh.

He seems to do a different accent in every advert, I get the feeling they must have hired him to do some exclusive 'characters' for them.

He's a genuinely talented actor. I hope he's getting well paid.

I officially own over 500 DVDs/tv series'/Blurays. My work is now complete. This has been the dream. I just never said it before for fear I would fail and be embarrassed.

I'll try post the list when I have full Internet back. I've also marked off te ones I haven't watched yet, so expect some polls when I'm bored asking which I should watch

It might be more or less, I don't fully remember, maybe i'll count them later.

I wasn't counting wrestling DVDs, which could be 40-50. Doesn't matter though. Gonna bring a bunch of DVDs into a shop where you can trade them in. Not Gamestop, cos they give sh*te money.
