i spoke to my aunt last night; i think of my aunt as a sort of mother figure. She told me that her husband is ill. (i always refer to my aunt's first husband as my uncle.) She said that that he has been in hospital for 2 weeks. It's some kind of infection, i think. (i didn't ask what it was; i always feel like i don't deserve to ask questions.) i just felt kind of useless, because i felt sad for her & i always worry about saying the wrong thing to people/ not being able to say the right thing. Then she started crying & i wished that i could've hugged her or held her hand... but i couldn't, because she doesn't live near me, none of my family do. So i told her that i loved her & i loved her husband & i loved the dog.

i know that when people make threads in Rants, it's usually because they are asking for advice. i'm not asking for advice. It's just that, when i feel upset about things, it sometimes doesn't seem as bad if i say what they are.

Yeah, your cards are great.

I hope you're ok, and I hope he gets well soon.
