Chris Kamara -

You could try and do some of your own research online based on the size, feeling and shape of your lump, and how many there are etc. It might prove useful to help you determine what they are before you see the specialist, but it'd be wise to take anything you find with a pinch of salt. Just might put your mind at rest a little.

Still, 2 months is a long time, but at least that means it's time enough for them to maybe disappear of there own accord.

You realise of course that a two month wait is a short amount of time when your using the NHS right?

I thought that too, yet it's still a long time. When my Dad was waiting to see the specialist about his back (he ended up having a very serious operation) it took 14 months. Ludicrous.

Oh, and for all that time he wasn't able to do his job. Going without over a years pay (plus a further 6 months after the op) isn't great.

Anyway, hopefully you won't have anything too serious there, Landa.

Yeah, but with the amount of pain they're causing me, I expected things to speed up a bit quicker so I don't have my mugshot up in every single branch of Boots in the country to prevent me from buying out their stocks of paracetamol and codeine!

Just set yourself up as a pharmacetical business and buy them direct from the supplier. The "Two a time" rule only applies on final purchase, not purchase for re-sale. If anyone askes why you have 12,000 boxes of paracetamol just tell them business is slow.

Hopefully it'll be nothing. get well soonish. I'd say use it to take a sick day, but...
