Yet again the Viking Horde are up for Blood Eagling people. I suppose they are still upset about the fact they were kidnapped by the Russian secret service and made to perform Abba songs for their Prime Minister. Or was it that they didn't get to keep the costumes?

Thats actually just what I was thinking myself. I presumed WLWs bad news yesterday involved possibly a death in the family or something, but with todays comment it could be that he's being made redundant or simply that they're getting rid of Zine.

If he'd made that comment any other day it would have been fine, but the day after he receives bad news may mean bad news for us all

although that being said, I thought I saw WLW online here today, and checking his profile it seems he was also online a while after that, around half 5 or so.

Last time it was announced Zine was ending, he told us here. If he had been told yesterday that Zine was ending, and knew he was making that statement on Zine today, I'd assume he'd say so here. Plus the last page of Zine which has the contact info didnt say anything. I dunno. Maybe we're just reading too much into it

I saw in the paper the other day that teletext is getting turned off a lot sooner than analogue TV and there's lots of job cuts going on at the moment thanks to the recession.
