Coronation Street

Steve: This is amazing... I was watching TV yesterday.
Lloyd: Well, that's not exceptional.
Steve: I was watching Dave.
Lloyd: I... It's a popular channel.
Steve: A sci-fi comedy was on.
Lloyd: I... um...
Steve: And this actor, Craig Charles, looks just like -
Lloyd: *implode*
Vigilante Maelstrom
Someone send him a Hear'Say CD forthwith!

Tough sort

Right you lot. I am here to sort you out! I've had instructions to wage war on the inhabitants of this strange place you call 'Zine! So WLW, are you up for the challenge of protecting your subjects?
General Random

Did somebody say something?

Mondouble?

So, WLW, are we to believe there are now two Mondos (perish the thought)? A northern one, in Oswaldtwistle, as observed by at least two 'Ziners and a southwest one in Kernow (Cornwall for the Celtic and geographically-challenged). Whatever next, double-WLW or Step-Daddypoos?
Rusty Regan

Surely Mondi would be the accepted plural.

A boy and his toy

They were discussing kids' toys from the past on the radio. I still have my Action Man from nineteen-thingy, complete with his extensive wardrobe. Today he's wearing a pink Barbie mini dress, Sindy's fishnets and his own Army boots. Do other 'Ziners have favourite old toys that make you go "ahhh..." with nostalgia?

Mable, fetch me that Dummies Guide To Freud will you?

The Artful Didger

So... Bridget "Didge" Parker from Neighbours. Is she a girl? Is she a boy? Who can tell? It looks like she's stolen her dad's hair. My friend thinks she looks like a deportee, a pickpocket from old London town, deported to Botany Bay. She has a D*ckensian face and looks like she could be one of Fagin's gang members.

Is "convict" not PC these days?
