Holes from a hole

For every possible outcome, a new parallel dimension is created. In a small fraction of these, the Large Hadron Collider produced a black hole. In a small fraction of these, it was not lethal but perfectly controlled. In most of these, they've used this dimensional gateway as a waste disposal unit. There are a lot more street louts around lately, but be nice to them - they've travelled interdimensionally!

Under a cloud

I wandered lonely as a cloud, but I could not reach the same heights. I saw a poppy field and thought it was a waste of space. I saw a rape field and thought the crop needs another name.

Plus, how did Rose's allusion to the word 'a*s-hole' (in the letter's title) actually get in?
