i think it was in 1991. i went to a place in Wigan called Cheers Bar. We saw a band called Brainwash Oasis. Oh, and there was also a band called Five Go Mad. The first gig i went to on my own was at Rockworld in Manchester. It was in 1993 and was a Frank Zappa tribute gig. Oh, and it was also the first time i slept in a bus station.

That was the only time i slept in a bus station. i have been to quite a few gigs where i ended up sleeping in bus stops and benches, though. i don't know how many times i did that; probably about 20 or summat. Oh, and i once went to T in the Park on my own and ended up sleeping in a tent with some Scottish blokes; they were all wearing kilts. That was in 1996.

Oohh, she burned you, Annie!

Mine was Oasis at Mylton Keynes Bowl in.. 2005 maybe? Haven't been bothered about them for years, but that's still one of the best gigs I've ever been to, and I've been to as many as seven other gigs in total.

Yes, Stu, i really do mean the Dogstar that had Keanu Reeves on bass. Oh, and, as i've mentioned before, i was also at the Manics gig in Leeds in 1996.

Tenacious D for my 21st birthday (wasn't big into music at the time and never any concerts on near me)

Great concert. Really funny (even when I knew most of the songs anyway) and we were in the pit, so songs like Master Exploder were brilliant. Got a Kyle Gass guitar pick at then end of it too.
Mal: Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us?
Zoë: Big damn heroes, sir.
Mal: Ain't we just.

I live at the a*s end of nowhere so rarely get to see decent gigs unless I travel hundreds of miles. But my first decent gig would have to be the Reel Big Fish when they first played in Falmouth. Was a small place but the atmosphere was great, there songs are about my life i swear!

Hope is important.

My first show was Ross Noble at the Apollo theatre in London. It was really really funny and amazing, and also our tickets we were upgraded because lots of really expensive seats were not sold out at-all. - We were in the second row. It was really brilliant and special, I think.

My first music gig was Rage Against The Machine at Finsbury Park with Alice and Scott and Loony and Joel.

It hurts too much not to try.
I will see you in another life when we are both cats.
