LoonyPandora - Daft Cow?

Daft Cow?

Bad singing does it for me. People who sound like they are drunk. Tom Waits, D*cky Barrett, Tim Armstrong, Shane MacGowan, etc.

Add in some mild rhythmic syncopation, and I'm done.

Little Blue Fox. - Hope is important.

Hope is important.

I really like shouty and yelpy voices, and also lots of noises and sounds together all at once.
Also, I really like spooky and haunting songs too.

It hurts too much not to try.

Going to sound odd, but god damn it I love it when the singer sounds like he's in pain. Not physical pain, but when you can sense the emotional pain and anguish in their voice. Eddie Vedder (particularly in Black) is a perfect example (I'll post a video later). When he gets to the end of that song, sure, he's louder and holds the notes for longer, but the anguish that seems to come out is incredible.

Another example would be Messages by Velvet Revolver.

I like women with really raspy voices. Examples - Courtney Love, Taylor Momsen (admittedly just a Courtney Love impersonator), Ida Maria. Especially Ida Maria. God damn.

For me, it's harmonies, and orchestral music. I'm having a total orgasm over this right now

I'm liking short, wet sounding snares at the moment. The wetter the better.
I hope some day, for some reason, David Duchovny is investigated by the FBI. Because that would make a great story.
