Y'know, I've thoroughly enjoyed the festivals I've been to (Leeds 2002, 2003, 2008, Reading 2006, 2007), but I don't think I've had a moment yet where something just clicks and a particular song takes the mantle of the weekend.

I can think of many bands that have played amazing sets, but no song that stands above the rest. The most obvious contender would be seeing RATM and being in the middle of the most brutal pit I've ever known at the end of 'Killing In The Name'.

I'm completely AGOG that Stu can remember anything from ANY festival.

Glasto 2003 is very, very hazy to be perfectly honest with you. I put enough chemicals in me that weekend to floor the Happy Mondays............

Moving swiftly onwards............

Not a fan but they were f*cking marvellous that night.

Something's hazy, because I'm 99% sure Muse WAS Glastonbury 2003. I was down the front for that.

I was slightly further back, for this. Still gives me goosebumps when it kicks in and Jonny goes mental.

2003 was REM, Radiohead, Manics/Moby.

2004 was Oasis, Paul McCartney, Muse.

Hazy for me too, but I only saw about seven bands in 2004 and Muse were one of them

Ah yes you're right, Sunday night in 2003 I went to see a weird piece of Russian Theatre instead of the headliners. 2003 and 2004 kinda blur into one. I distinctly remember 2002 cuz it was my first (and I lost my virginity), and 2005 because of the flood.
