Divan by the Lemonheads

Well it’s not much like a lounger
You know it’s more like a sofa bed
And if you get the feeling you’ll be hanging around
Well you can crash out on my divan
You can crash out on my divan

Well the TV’s set where it is
And you can watch it for as long as you like
But the minute you get tired of it
Crash out on my divan
You can crash out on my divan

Crash out on my divan
You can crash out on my divan

In the morning I got things to do
I’ve gotta be up and out by ten
But if you’re still asleep then I won’t wake you
You can crash out on my divan
You can crash out on my divan

Crash out on my divan
You can crash out on my divan

Like A Virgin by Teenage Fanclub.

Recorded back in 1991ish, I sh*t you not this is the best cover I've ever heard in all my f*cking life.

I've got it on a mega-rare old 12", but a quick Google shows you can listen to it here. I suggest you do so immediately

When you leave here, the Get The Hell Out sign is well kept and pretty with floral decor

It really is, they're a wonderful band.

On a different tip, got Strange Angels by Kristin Hersh on now.

I love strange angels. Might give it a listen later, I've been feeling slightly nostalgic for the past few days.

Good times..

Right now - Love is Real by the Jimmy Chamberlain Complex..

I keep forgetting just how amazing his drumming is.. More so just how f*cking amazing this band as a whole is.

Gah. What the hell happened, I was slated to be at this level of playing by now around 10 years ago.

I've done that a few times, and even ten years later a lot of mine holds up - Nirvana, Pixies, Mudhoney, Joy Division, Lemonheads, Mogwai, Fannies, Pavement, Jesus Lizard, to name but a few.

There was an awful lot of sh*te as well though, I'm on the process of getting rid of about a hundred old singles and albums, although I'm not saying what any of it is :-X

Anyways, I've got Pavement on now as it happens, Infinite Spark to be precise.

I know mine won't hold up. I bought my first cd when I was 17 (was never really into music before that). The first cd I ever bought was Meteora by Linkin Park.

2nd was The Darkness

I actually like that album. Some great tunes. Love on the rocks with no ice, Love is only a feeling, Black Shuck. I thought it was great. Its just the fact the singers a d*ckhead that puts most people off I think

Although looking over your post again I'm not sure if you meant you think its sh*t or you liked it and thought I was badmouthing it
