The Pumpkins version of that song is top drawer. Thin Lizzy are ok, but I've always thought they were a tad overrated to be honest.

Anyways, I've got Urusei Yatsura on again now.

They were an awesome band, absolutely bonkers live as well. It was a sad day when they split up. It's a testament to how good they were that the records still sound fresh now, even though they're ten years old or more.

If there are no web sources, I should be able to do a bit of this for you. Not 'til I've done Dan's Champagne Supernova, though.
(I keep getting confused when I try, as that line isn't hugely prominent and it's hard to tell where to start. I'll send you something later today, though)

Erm, I'm not greatly into him beyond Sha Sha - I only have that and On My Way and consider the latter quite inferior. What I've heard from his self-titled is good, though - is it so strong as a full album?
That probably decides whether or not I'm excited by his return.

I've not looked through it exactly while listening but isn't this right? This one seems to corroborate. Just to save me getting up.

That looks about right actually, I'll give it a go when I've finished doing this mix. I've only got the first two albums myself, actually, and I prefer the first one too, but I'm gonna get the self-titled one and the new one anyway. I figure anyone with that much talent is gonna pull off a couple of gems on every record he does..............

It's spot on, thanks guv. It's f*cking awkward though cos I'm generally sh*t at picking, gonna take a while before I can get me fingers around it but I'll get there.

Jerry Cantrell was the guitarist and co-vocalist of Alice in Chains. Wrote most of thier songs as well. If you like his solo stuff, get Dirt and Facelift by them. F*cking marvellous band.
