You may as well argue a fan of music would never listen to an MP3... Or a CD for that matter, so are you not a fan of music Jorje?
I have played around with one, I did not like it, it was not good, I am not a fan.
Which one and what did you dislike?
My argument on MP3 players stands... Remember it was only when the iPod came out that they started getting highly popular.
At the minute, I suspect about 80% of them are likely 'doing it wrong' (eBook readers that is.) I know my old Sony one was flawed, but still relatively decent for what it was.
I still think that a lot of the success of MP3 players due to the iPod came off the back of people buying a stylish product with only a vague idea of what it did. But it sure did look a lot cooler than anything else available...
After all, would Bang&Olufsen be as successful as they are if everyone knew that it was Phillips components wrapped in-cutting edge design? I can be sure as sh*t that a person wouldn't pay £1,000 for 2 conventional speakers with Phillips on them, but the same person would pay it for the same hardware in a flashy design.
