The Bear, the Hare and the Pear

There once was a bear
who found a pear,
and thought "C'est extraordinaire",
to find a pear,
it is so rare,
Along came a hare
and asked "Can I taste your pear?"
"NO! roared the bear,
holding the pear
high in the air
far away from the hare.
"You'll never taste my pear!"
Out of nowhere
a snare
trapped the bear
who dropped the pear.
Up jumped the hare
who, grabbing the pear,
laughed, "Au contraire,
Mr. Bear,
you dropped something there!"
"What?" roared the bear,
"You dare
take a pear
from me, the bear?"
"What do I care?"
said the hare.
"For you are the bear
stuck over there
in the snare
who would not share
and I am the hare
with the pear.


No, unfortunately I didn't write this myself. I just wanted to pass it on to the new generation of VRers because I think it's f*cking fantastic. I almost revived the old thread, but realised just in time.

Also, the
talented author of this poem's VR profile says they have three posts, but a search only turns up two of them. Strange.
