"Where are you?! C'mon! Let's be havin' you!"

I had to write a poem following Simon Armitage's style for my English Language coursework at college. Here are a couple of my favourite Armitage poems:

Their vocabulary was as bad as, like... you know, whatever.

I am soooo not a fan of modern poetry, but undoubtedly my favourite contempory poem is one by Simon Armitage called Hitcher. I just think it is truly brilliant. Unfortunately I've just done a search for it and I don't think it's available online... If anybody wants to prove me wrong then please do. Otherwise I could write the whole thing out for you, but I don't think I can be arsed.
Now that we're here we may as well go too far.

Havn't read too much of Armitages poems, though i've got a collection he put together called Short and Sweet.
