Nah it can be owt but the thing is Andrew is the only one with access to the paypal payments and he's not been here...so we didn't know you'd donated. At the moment I don't think we can do it because we can't edit profiles and the thingy to do it is in profiles but Andrew's working on getting it back for us so as soon as we can do it I'm sure we will.

If you donate it should change automatically, I asked to keep my black name before I knew this. He offered to change it back of course but then it would have looked like I retracted my donation :] So maybe the update killed the automatically-updating-colour thingy.

It could do, but it's unlikely as it'd be a case of seeing who donated then changing the person's member group accordingly.

We can't do it! There's a little dropdown box that we can usually find in your profile where we can make you a mod or a donator...and it isn't there since the upgrade. I've asked Andrew about putting the Admin crap back in for us so we'll have to wait, unless he can do it himself, that is. But as far as I was aware it was never automatic, I thought Andrew just went through the list of donators on paypal when we got New VR and changed the dropdowns I mentioned manually...something very clever would have to be going on for it to be done automatically!

I was gonna donate about a year ago, but Paypal has only recently let me 'have' an account, for whatever ridiculous it wouldn't.

But I got round to it now.

Andrew must have done it because the changey thing's not there. Unless there's another way and I'm being stupid. Anyway, thanks to him, and also, if you donate, please drop a PM to a Mod or we'll have to wait for Andrew to look at the paypal records and shiz before we can sort your bling out

i wondered that but on most forums i've been to with donations, the majority said they gave between £2-£5 every few months or so, so i just went with that
