I have this turned off anyway. Email notifications rule.

I like an escalator because an escalator can never break, it can only become stairs. There would never be an "Escalator temporarily out of order" sign, only an "Escalator temporarily stairs. Sorry for the convenience."

...and that's exactly what it should say. I'd still turn it off, but this way I'd probably turn it on every now and then for the novelty.
