Jingle - WOO-HAH!

I am also using IE and *also cringe* Vista and am seeing a change in size on Landas and Tabbys avatars on different posts. Weird.

I've seen that before once or twice myself, but I'm on XP and Firefox...

it usually goes with a refresh

What's wrong with that? - That's how it should be, I reckon it's to do with the javascript used to keep the images in proportion when they are scaled... How to they normally look to you?

(Ignore the dodgy quality/colour) here's an example of an over-sized Avatar... to be honest I've only just noticed it 'cos I'm using IE6 as apposed to FireFox :/

Edit: Sarah says it's like that on her Firefox as well "sometimes".

I think I have the answer, or at least the reason why only certain avatar are affected. Both Landa's and Tabby's avatars widths are less than 100 pixels when scaled, but both at normal size are longer than 100 pixels. I beleive the Javascript that is responsible for scaling the avatars to be less than 100 x 100 pixels is causing avatars that are longer than 100 pixels, but not wide enough to be scaled upwards, to be wide enough, rather than scaled down for the avatars to stay within the 100 x 100 parameters.

In effect, any avatar that's longer than 100 pixels, but less than 100 pixels wide will cause the same scale up at times.
