Is there any reason the max file upload size is 1000k? How about 3000

there was going to be a thread in music entitled "the mystery song" and there would have been a file attached to download and listen to. then everyone would say 'wow! this mystery song is cool!' and i was going to do a new one every month.

it probably breaks a lot of music sharing or copyright rule thingies too, but i figured it all for a good cause.

You could always stick it on a box.net account or similar, and post the link?

Box.net give you 1Gb space, 10Mb file size limit, have no ads, have no annoying forced wait times for downloads and there's a built in music player as an option when you download MP3s so you can just listen and not save.

Thanks, I was going to ask if there was a musical version of ImageShack, but thought it was a silly question thanks.

Nope, I just think they're cool. Most of this kind of site have something that's annoying, but these guys don't seem to.
