On Tuesday, I put 6000 in the milestone posts. I think some of my posts have been deleted. I'm not sure how. Alice said (in the milestone post section) that it could be due to my not logging out. She suggested that I PM Andrew/ Loony Pandora. However, I'm having PM problems... so I don't want to PM anyone at the moment. If anyone could help me get my lost posts back, it would be appreciated.

Has anyone else had any posts gone missing?

Also- Strawberry; what is the problem with PM's? Are you getting an error message?

Only mods and yourself would be able to delete your post, so it's a little difficult to test that one Sammy. I can't see any reason for the Remove link not to be there though

Sammy's post is now gone..

Martin: This is my PM problem. About a month ago, I stored my PMs. This was after I read Carrie Ann's storage thread. Then the box said: You have 0 messages, 0 are new. A couple of weeks later, they came back. I saved then again. Then they were deleted. I now have 4 messages and there are 21 messages which were deleted. I think they make come back in the next few weeks.

stored messages don't count as messages on the amount in your inbox, you can view them by hitting "store" at the top, when looking in your inbox

Anyway, I'm more concerned about the posts than I am about the PMs. Maybe they haven't been deleted. Maybe it's some kind of technical number error. Oh, and I spammed a lot when my fiance was in hospital (he's OK now). I think that's how I got to 6000.

Well there is no technical explanation to solve this. No threads have been deleted containing hundreds of your posts, and from what I can logically gather, no one has manually deleted 900 of your posts.

So it just seems as though you've mis-read it, and no posts have gone missing. Normally you would post a few times in the Milestone thread instead of just making 900 posts straight, too.

Your PM problem - can you send and receive PM's ok?

I can send and receive them, but I'd
rather not.

I said 5100 in the milestone thread, then it was 6000, so I guess they haven't been deleted.

Well as long as it's possible then I'm happy.

As a side note, just so you know when to back-up, etc:

Inbox holds 25 messages
Outbox holds 50 messages
Storage holds 50 messages.

Sorry, that was a reply to Sammy Tsang, who seems to have deleted his post

This might sound odd, but why do any of you bother storing your PMs anyway? I just delete them straight away

It doesn't sound odd. I like keeping them... because they make me feel almost special.

I think my PMs are OK. I have some in my outbox and some in my inbox. When it said that I had 0 and 0 are new, I thought it meant they'd gone... but they're in the outbox. I just find these things confusing sometimes. Also, what does call back mean?
