Thank you kind Nemi person who provided the link!

http://www.renbow.co.uk/shop/Crazycolor.htm

I plan to dip dye the last two inches of my hair, I'll have it bleached first and all. I've shortlisted the colours I like, and you get to have a say in my hair, think of that, you could tell all your friends when I'm famous that you had a say in my hair colour! I'll take everyone's opinions into consideration, of course, but I'll point out now that I will not be bound to the winning colour you pick .

I've found that there's only really 2 colours you need, red and blue.

If i don't put much blue on, it fades to greeny, if i put red on, it fades orangy. If i mix it properly, i can make it fade to differnt shaes of purple, pinkish, deep blue, light blue, different shades of red...

But then again, thats because I don't tend to want bright pink, which I think with yellow is the only one I can't get. Plus I'm lazy, so my hair will be at a slightly faded colour for most of the time.

Anyway...

My hair is reddish brown so I'm trying to decide which colour would work best with it. I'm trying to decide right now so I can order one, but I find it hard to make decisions about everything these days right down to what I want to eat and it drives me crazy and paralises my mind with indecision. Sigh.

Anyway, I've been thinking I'll go with Fire, because that's not straying into completely unfamiliar territory, or one of the purply shades. I originally wanted blue but I'm not sure now.

Yeah, I'd vote fire for now if your hair is a warm colour (no pun intended), then once you get used to it, you'll have an idea of what it looks like and what would suit it best.

Ok, I've decided to go with fire for now because I know it will go with my hair. However, as soon as I get bored with it I'll change it to either Bordeaux or Lavendar and then Peacock blue or Pine Green. Sorted.

The fire is nice. It's like a nice lipstick colour, except hair dye. I wish I'd dipped my hair before I had it cut.

Well I did say I wouldn't be bound by what you lot say, but would take your opinions into consideration

I think after I've tried the fire, I'll go for a purpley or lavendar colour after a while.

And light purple has to be redyed sooner than most, as a lot of shades fade to grey, but that might just be the type I've used before.

I'm looking forward to having it done, because I'm bleaching the last inch and a half of my hair first, as already mentioned, and I've never done anything like that before. I'd so *NEVER* ever do that to all of my hair, as I love my natural colour and wouldn't want to ruin it all, but I don't mind the last bit because I can cut it easily if I get bored and it won't ruin all my hair, and it's long enough now to take that risk.

I am as I type sitting here with the bleach on now, sitting very straight so it doesn't touch the chair or fall out of place.

But at least you won't need to bleach it next time, will you? You'll only need to change the colour on the ends. So it should be better.

It's not a hairdye which involves hairdryers is it? They're annoying as hell and never seem to work well.

Nope, just need to change the colour

It does involve hairdryers, got to wash the colour paste out then dry it, but as it's only the ends, should take no time at all to dry ;p

Ah, that's not what I really meant when I said it involves hairdryers, I meant some you have to wrap your head in plastic (or not) and then heat your head for 5 minutes with a hairdryer and it's just awful. And they're normally crap if they ask you to do that, too.

That goes really well with your hair Laura. I'd have my hair dyed like that if it wasn't so short.

It doesn't matter now anyway, because I just had my hair cut and all the colour is left on the floor.

I'll probably get the ends dyed again.

After I sort out this disastrous haircut.

It's just past my shoulders now, even at the back, where it was a lot longer before, but too hard to manage. It's nothing remotely like what I asked for. I suppose it will grow back. Getting ends dyed again at some point soon.
