I always order sweet popcorn at the cinema and my boyfriend orders salted - I guess that just means more for me as there is no excuse to share!

But if I buy a bag of popcorn in the video shop or whatever, I take it home and salt it... guess at the cinema it's too damn salty.

I love the song - my mum had it on a record and I used to listen to it when I was wee.

Ahh, I choose butter popcorn. It's not as dry as plain popcorn and it's slightly salty, but not stupidly so, like some salted popcorn can be. If not that though, then I choose salted.

I know what you mean there- sometimes you'll get a really nice piece, and the next will taste- in Joel's words- like cardboard.

And there are usually more of the ones that taste like cardboard too.

Toffee popcorn's the best. Sweet a close second, though.

Strawberry flavoured popcorn from Morrisons is nice, extremely sickly but yummy. Best popcorn is cinema style sweet popcorn.

somtimes you get those sweet ones where there is a lump of that sweet goo attached to it, and you can spend teh rest of the time sucking away at it.

I always buy it then either finish it before the picture has started or end up regretting buying it, but forcing myself to eat it and to "damn well enjoy it"

learrggh -

I don't like sweet popcorn, that is, the stuff with sugar sprinkled on it.

Salted popcorn is ok, with a little melted butter drizzled on it. So long as there isn't much crap bunged in (e.g. at cinemas) it's bearable and sometimes nice.

I like toffee popcorn a little, in moderation and occasionally, as it makes me feel sick if I eat much of it.

I have not had popcorn for ages. You can get great big bags for 99p in Global video.

yeah because if you did like both together that would make you a filthy popcorn sl*t!!

If forced to, like if theres nothing else at the cinema foyer and im not in an m&m mood il take the sweet stuff just because why would you want a salty snack? Especially with the fact cinema drinks taste sh*t.

They're all watered down tasting

I had ice cream the last time I went to the cinema. It was so-so.

Toffee popcorn is the only remotely palatable flavour. Oh, and cinema style popcorn with Lucozade accidentally spilt into the bag by some eejit (ie: me) is also deceptively nice.
