VR kicks ass!

So there I was, happily going about my life, when suddenly...
... I remembered Zine. I think it was being in the library, and suddenly seeing the initials 'WLW' as a classmark.

A quick Google search leads me here. My posts on Teletext p142 have been kept for posterity! Reading them back to myself is like an insane Charlie Kaufman-esque film about a 15 year old girl I nearly was.

I was Girl On The Oatmeal Box. I hung around for a while, then I discovered the internet, where posts were guaranteed to be displayed and I could be judged far more harshly than ever before.

Hello to you all. It's good to be sort-of-back. Seven years have passed and I don't expect anybody to remember me, or anybody from the days of Teletext p142 to even be around. But if you are... I have 7 years worth of news to catch up on, so please do fill me in!

Girl On The Oatmeal Box- still fighting her way out of a yawning chasm since 1986.

Well, um, hello.
Uh, 'Zine's only on Digital (+online) now, after a near-death experience. Think of it as a kind of life support. It's Terri Schiavo, but cuter.
A lot of the old names are here on VR or not far from VR's grasp.
Now, I pass you over to Someone With More Experience.

I dont have more experience, but what I lack in experience, I make up with little chicks

Would you like some chicks? They're not expensive. They're going cheep
Mal: Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us?
Zoë: Big damn heroes, sir.
Mal: Ain't we just.

I remember her too.

Also: f*ck all to do with the thread, but I went to Uni with the girl from the  1980s Bisto adverts

As usual, i read that all wrong and thought you had actually been out with the girl from the bisto adverts and made hot gravy with her!

The yawning chasm wasn't best pleased and returned with a fiery vengeance.

((: it did mean having to confront my 12 year old poetry but i survived that with the help of a large glass of wine
the doc: F*cking hell, is that Tabby?!
the doc: Always wondered what happened to you
the doc: Hope life's treating you well after all these years. Them were some f*cked up times we lived through.
the doc: Ah man, it was weeks ago. Ah well. If you drop by again, send us a quick PM and let us know how you're doing. I'd love to hear from you. I'm all grown up with kids and everything. Madness.
Luco El Loco: Greetings and salutations for anyone passing through.
SayNotAWord: Does this thing still work?
SayNotAWord: Oh good - I ended up here at the end of a Mega Zine nostalgia rabbit hole
SayNotAWord: Nice to see there's still life in this glorious old place
SayNotAWord: It's ya boy, Parsley Possum
Luco El Loco: Hello

Luco El Loco: Wow I haven't heard that one in a while.
Crinkle-Cut Beatroot: I was in the shower and "Fluff The Evil One" randomly floated through my mind so I thought I'd stop by, hi 'ziners!
Captain Spiky: Considering I haven't been on this site for over a decade, I find it mildly terrifying that I still have an average of 1.71 posts per day...
Captain Spiky: I miss this place... Much loveage to anybody reading this x
Graham: Passing through, hope you beautiful lot are doing well!
Rayanne Graff: Bye; peace to small Christmas trees.
Cooder: HIYA!
