VR kicks ass!

Hoy hoy,
this day will go down in the 'zine almanac as the day we finally embraced the interweb. yes, mega-zine is now online.
well it's already on VR but now it will go up on the teletext website at the same time as it goes up on digital text (ie, when I get around to it).
tell your friends! your family! awol 'ziners!
the 'zine also has an RSS feed which you can subscribe to so you'll never miss an edition. i'm still waiting for cedric to get back to me on what that actually means, but i'm told it's a good thing.

now, if only we could get davord back in the corner of the screen...

Ugh. Not a good theme for a first day.
But congratulations! That's a lot less effort for the copier monkeys.

Cool - I've been after something like this for ages.

Since an RSS feed isn't permanent, I guess we'll still need some sort of archive, but because it's online I can get it running automatically to put posts on here and stuff. That is, if you guys want to stop manually doing it - I can also put together some fancy interface for it, and finally put my mega-zine.co.uk domain name to good use!

I'd really appreciate some PM's from the copier monkeys and people who actually pay attention to mega-zine about what sort of stuff they would like to see - I've got some good ideas myself, but I'd like to make sure they go down well - I'm not around here these days to look at a thread, but I get PM's emailed to me ya see.

Well, I'm back from holiday, and I've started work, should be up and running before the end of the week. With Davord in the corner of the screen, natch.

Get your thoughts in sharpish, I've had no PM's yet...

this is news to me. great to see zine is still alive.

might have a look now and then to see if there are any funny comments and may even appear myself.

Does Mega-zine get uploaded twice daily or once daily or something?
Now is that salary pre or post tax?

90% finished now - have a look if you fancy:

It should also be auto updating the forum now. If you see anything wrong, or have a suggestion, just let me know via PM - I'll properly launch it before next weekend.

Check the Ziner name on page 2 m'dear.

Other than that it's as good as teletext, without the stress of the page turning when you're off guard
