Elusive Moose - Get your Antlers on

Get your Antlers on

Right, so now with a new mod we're going to save this board whether people like it or not (and I hope you do). So, here are my ideas to make it better again, and hopefully 'Zine too:

[list][*]Start a thread where Copier Monkeys can say when they won't be here in advance, enabling a replacement to be found earlier than the day before, so it's more likely that the day will get done.

[*]Starting up Saturday Showcase again- with MegaZine stats not being avaliable, this means that most days should be copied up on the day, or the next one (if people could actually make this happen it would be much appreciated) making it easier for people to nominate letters from the week.

[*]Unsticky/ delete a few of the *important* topics that are unnecessary/ unneeded, as the space is currently slightly clogged. E.g.
--> Various Linkage

-->Saturday Showcase Idea

-->Zine Pics Is Now Closed

If anyone has any objections to any of these being unstickied/ deleted (in the case of smaller ones- ones that are more than a page long wouldn't be deleted) please say so now.

Back on with the list:

[*]Badger Fi into doing Alt. Zine

Various inkage could be handy as a directory, maybe? It would need work done to it We need to put a link to IJS's site somewhere in an important topic at least.

There's a link to it on the front page of VR so I don't see the need for a whole redundant thread to be kept stickied for one link. It's not like the thread is going to be deleted either, so if someone really had the urge to find it they could.

400x80 pixels is pretty much he standard size for banners/sig images - so I would appreciate it if you could work to that size, or thereabouts

If people decide which ones they want, we can upload them into the VR gallery and people can take the URL from there

Actually, you know what we could do if we wanted to be fancy, if you tell me which one each of you want before we upload them to the gallery I could edit them to say which day you do. Just you know, to guilt/shame you into doing them.

Or that could be stupid.

Well if we did upload them into the picture gallery, you'd just gave to go in there, click on properties and you'd get a url.

Then you put it between the [img] & [ /img] tag (without space on last one) and voila! You have image in your sig.

When we first got copier monkies the idea was that we would PM all of them including the mods, and the previous winner if they'd be a part of the site. The first four to get back to me would get chosen. Well, the first four different ones, so it worked on a first-come-first-served basis.

Also, a lot of the time originally people would suggest duplicate letters. Hopefully with 6 or 7 people nominating this problem would be pretty much avoided.
