New Things that p**s you off thread.

i couldn't think of a better title but here's a new thread.

i cried again yesterday. 3 times.

i spoke to my father on the 3rd of February and he asked me if i eat fish. Again.

He told me that one of the grandsons of that woman that he lives with, is getting married. i know because he's told me that before, even though i'm not interested. And he pointed out that i've been engaged for a long time. Again.

You cry a lot. How come?

So, do you eat fish? I love Salmon, myself.

Yeah, but like, you ignored my questions, dawg.

The statistical odds of you crying on any given day are unusually high. What's the causal relationship there?

i spoke to my father on Sunday and he asked me how old i am. Again.

Someone whistled at me a few weeks ago. i don't like being whistled at.

On Wednesday, the 26th of April, Marc's sister's boyfriend commented on a workman that was mowing a lawn. He said that he looked as though he ate a lot of pork pies. Even though it's likely that he weighed more than the workman. i'm not keen on Marc's sister's boyfriend and i've felt like that since 2013.

On Monday, Marc told me that Mary, my next door neighbour, had phoned the police as the people upstairs were arguing. i didn't hear anything; the last time i heard something upstairs-related was in December. As can be seen on page 146 of the previous Rants thread.

Ereyesterday, i was in the city centre. A woman and a man were singing hymns. And the woman was handing out leaflets.

Yesterday, i was watching Frasier. And the continuity announcer mentioned something about a new series about autism that they're making. It p*sses me off that autism is fashionable. Like on another forum that i sometimes post on. i care about people on that forum. And i would like to think that i get on with some of them. But it p*sses me off when they talk about autism. Because i think that the way they talk about it is fake.

i spoke to my father ereyesterday and he asked me if ilike seeing animals in fields. So i said That's a loaded question. Then he said that lambs wouldn't exist if people didn't eat them. So i said i think we've had this conversation before. Because he said the same thing about pigs in February of 2015. As can be seen on page 106 of the previous Rants thread. And he said the same thing about turkeys in December of 2015. As can also be seen on page 106 of the previous Rants thread.

This afternoon, i answered the phone and a man said Mrs M?. Because Marc's last name begins with M. So i said i'm Not Mrs M, i'm a friend of Mr M. * Then i said that he was asleep. ** He explained that it was something to do with Marc's car and so
i wrote down the phone number.

It p*sses me off when some people assume that i have the same last name as Marc. Even if we were married, i wouldn't like to have the same last name as him. i've been saying since i was 12, that i wouldn't change my name if i got married.

* i sometimes don't like telling people that i'm engaged. Perhaps because i'm self-conscious about time length.

** i don't know why i was so formal by saying Mr M and not Marc.

Yesterday, Marc asked me how old i am. Again.

Also yesterday, Herman the tortoise chewed one of my bags.

Last Friday, i spoke to my father. He called me Old girl and he commented on my age. Again. So i said Yes, my aunt asked me that. They both seem to find my age fascinating.

He mentioned that one of the grandsons of the woman he lives with, got married. i'm not interested in that woman's family. Mostly not interested. Something like 97% not interested. He said Are you ever going to get married?. i hate it when he comments on me being engaged, in that way. * i said that i'm my own person and that i wished he wouldn't compare me with her family. And he said, again, that i sent him a letter when i got engaged. i think that's the third time he mentioned that.

On Saturday, i watched an episode of Points of View on iPlayer. An episode from the 4th of June. Some people complained about how the BBC had a feature where they had something called a butty van. And they would give people some breakfast/ ask them about the general election. Some comments from a woman called christine brocksopp, included the phrase You are a disgrace to your forebears.

Also on that episode, Jeremy Vine said that John Noakes had sadly passed away.

Then i watched an episode of Modern Life Is Goodish. And Dave Gorman said that his grandparents had passed away, sadly.

i'm not keen on euphemisms for death.

*And i hate it when anyone else does. Like on another forum. i wish i hadn't mentioned about being engaged on that forum. And i think that anna is a sh**head b**tard. And that sally and suzanne are sh**heads. Because i didn't like some comments that they made about me. ** Well, that and other reasons.

** i don't mean that it was recently because it wasn't.

One of my nails broke yesterday.

A few weeks ago, i heard Marc talking to paul. * They talked about vaping. And paul kept swearing/ saying the word f**k. i did used to swear but i have sworn rarely if at all since 1999. But when i used to swear, i don't think that i ever swore that much.

Then they started talking about doctors. And paul used the phrase f**king P*kis.

i spoke to my father on Wednesday. He asked me how old i am. Again. i said i think you've asked me that enough times. He mentioned what year i was born. So he knows how old i am.

He asked me if i work. Again. And i said No. Again. He knows why i don't work. He said iwas a lady of leisure. Again. Patronising.

Here is some belated wrath.

i spoke to my maternal aunt in October. She mentioned one of my maternal cousins. * She said that my cousin said that he saw my father twice and my father ignored him both times. So i said that sometimes i've not seen people because i have bad eyesight and that perhaps that was what happened with my father. i felt like saying i wish you would stop using me to have a go at my father. But i don't always say what i feel like saying.

* He lives in the same town as my father.

One day in March, iwent out in the snow. It was very deep. When iwas crossing the road, a man in a car stopped and honked the horn. Meaning that he was letting me go past. idon't know but iwaited. And he shouted Come on at me. It was my fault buti hate being shouted at.

A few weeks ago, iwas in the city centre and a man was preaching. And people were handing out leaflets.

Also a few weeks ago, my father told me that my paternal aunt has died. i feel sad that she died. Mostly for my father. Because i can't remember the last time i saw her.

On Friday, i went to the city centre and a man was preaching. Not the same man as the one who was preaching a few weeks ago. A different man. And he used a loudspeaker.

We have plenty of churches here. And we have a cathedral. i don't think there's any need for people to preach in the city centre as well.

i spoke to my maternal aunt on Friday. She mentioned that my father had phoned her. And she said that neither of them have heard from my sister for a couple of hours. Then she said It's probably something your father did.

i spoke to my father on Thursday. And he asked me if i'm a Christian. Again. i said that i wasn't sure ifi ever was a Christian. My father said that he didn't think that my mother ever was a Christian. But he tried to make out that it wasn't his idea that i used to go to church. He tried to make out that it was my mother's idea.

My father asked me what my name was and he asked me something about changing my name. Again. He also said that he understood about me changing my name. i don't think that he understands. So i think it's stupid for him to say that he understands it.
