LoonyPandora - Daft Cow?

Daft Cow?

The archives from VR will be put on in the coming days (there is a LOT to type up!), but in the meantime enjoy the official unoffical home of Mega-Zine on the web - updated daily. Check out the theme days, and old-skool teletext stylings (ooh, if anyone can remember the correct colour schemes through the years, let me know. my memory sucks). Maybe 'zine can return to it's former glory...

Cheers to the teletext guys for getting an RSS feed running, even if it isn't perfect, it is a million times better than nothing at all.

Here's to another couple of decades of 'Zine, now it's finally dragged it's a*se into the 21st century!

Remember to subscribe to the RSS feed, to make sure it stays online.

If it's promoted in other places

Does this mean a new non-teletext Email, or is it still mega-zine@teletext.co.uk?

Reading the site gives me my answer ¬¬

Spread the word far and wide - and get us back on wikipedia without the marked for deletion tags

The feed is direct with teletext, so they can see it's popularity, and the email is still the same. This is pretty much just their website prettified and with a way to see old letters too.

The link to VR is spelled wrong. I have no idea who can fix this, just thought I'd point it out. Link works fine obviously.

Sorry to be an a*se
When you get here, the Welcome To This Town sign, it scares little kids with it's skulls and it's gore
When you leave here, the Get The Hell Out sign is well kept and pretty with floral decor

Well at least I don't have to use the teletext no my freeview Box has a pathological hatred of the zine and hangs up when it comes on, curious it doesn't have that problem with the BBC version, it must have been when everything went purple.

I've just noticed that if one were to Select All and Copy from that site, the letters are copied in a nice, neat list.
I'm not sure if I'll ever find an actual use for that, but it's pretty.

Well if you had a computer that is possessed by the evil that my sister has done to it, she borrowed my laptop without my permission and she well seems to have a penchant for going onto hardcore p*rn sites I wonder why she does that, it is very curious as well those ladies seem to have a meat 'n two veg. Well it took me ages to get the viruses off the system. That and I am getting the hang of forums never been on them often but some guys are total jerks and well you will be very surprised how much I can find out about you with a spot of goggle. I saw Saw the other day, it was really predictable and boring, I HAVE DONE FAR WORSE than that (Evil cackle)

Now in it's Christmas livery, and as requested some keyboard navigation - press the left or right arrow keys to scroll through the pages, like on facebook when looking at photos.

I'll get around to fixing the date picker when I can think of a good solution, and then I'll have a crack at converting the old letters too.

As usual, lemme know if there are any problems

The left-right nudge won't work on Firefox 3 but will on IE7.
The latter, however, has a very wide page caused by the snow effect, so left-right nudging also moves this.
Cute stuff. I'm watching how much snow will stick to the bottom.

Oh, I wasn't criticising the sticking snow, it was nice. Fine without, though, too. And December's drawing to a close anyway
It's still too wide on IE, but who uses IE and really cares?
Firefox nudging works now.

I thought it was the sticking that made it too wide on IE... hmm. I'll have to install VMWare and test it in IE7 I guess. *grumble*
