Tally ho

Ah, so my dear, beloved Mega-Zine has been consigned to the realms of Utopia. I shall drink some champoo and port in her honour, and indulge in my customary flirtation with Twiglets and soft p*rn. Tally ho to all who sail in her.

This, is a dead giraffe

I won't try to get a letter printed on the last day, so I'll leave 'Zine with a simple "Goodbye", along with an elongated section of e's, one for every day that Margaret Thatcher has read 'Zine.
Goodby.

Mondo love poem

You're going off to Gran Can, retiring from the 'Zine. No longer will you grace our, Teletext machine. No more will you have to, put up with our demands. It's sea and sun and J**** C****, along the golden sands. Alas, we shall all miss you, and equally, each other. If we could do it all again, there's nothing that I'd ruther.
Goodnight, 'Ziners; everywhere.
Mondo
Fare ye well... see you in the dunes old chum.

Goodbyeee

Well I guess my time travelling adventure is over. I will miss you all, especially WLW. I just got a message from Future Me claiming that I would be on a spaceship headed for the sun and die then-ish. I'll take this chance to say goodbye: you've been great, so long and thanks for the fish. Hmm, space travel is cheap so I might book a trip.
Can't forget to pack Guess Who though.

Back to life

I give Mega-Zine two years before it returns, seeing as comebacks are all the rage these days. Wacko Jacko is returning and Rocky Balboa didn't let being old stop him from giving one of today's whippersnappers a pounding. However, a WLW comeback would blow both of these out of the water. After all, they have nothing on a gay giraffe (if my prediction doesn't come true, I'll hold Myleene Klass responsible).

That was entertainment

Goodbye and good luck, WLW. Thanks for all the entertainment. Who knew that insanity could be such fun. *Sniff, wipes mote from eye* Hugs and kisses.

Careering

Dear WLW, followed your career ever since I fed you that first chocorange delight from the school minibus all those years ago. I should've been honoured to have a whole 'Zine devoted to me but I was quite upset. Sad now but also a slight feeling of relief and guilty karmic schadenfreude.
Cake Or Bisc

"Career"? That's the best compliment I've had all week.

Ode to WLW

Oh WLW so sad to see ya go, when I read Teletext now there'll just be a hole. This old gaff was a hoot, sometimes maybe not; but if you ever said you hated it, you deserved to get shot. I can't believe this place has finally met its end, this place where I've made so many friends. My heart now, it really aches, I just want to comfort eat some J****... C****? Farewell WLW.

*Salutes* Shall we do it all again tomorrow, one last time?

Still wish I could have thought of something wittier for my last letter, but alas, I don't perform comedy well under a time-limit.

^ Ditto. I'm pleased mine made it on though, wasn't expecting it too! Even though I broke the rules and squeezed in a Jaffa Cake mention :-[

Hey thanks buddy. Yours was good too, in fact all of these letters recently have been great compared to the last time I read 'Zine over two years ago. Good to see 'Zine going out with a bang of good letters rather than a whimper of sh*te!

If you go back over the last six months or so you'll see the boxer coming out for one last inspiring surge before getting knocked exhausted to it's knees. Crapness got a few scattered decent hooks in here and there in terms of Daddypoos and Mondo, but sublimity held it's one with the vigorous one-two punch of Paddy Irishman-Vigilante Maelstrom.
