The hard fax

'Zine, dumping me!? This... this has never happened... I'm always the dumper! Except for Will 3, but he went to college so he doesn't count. God, why did I ever date him? Asthma! Ew! Anyway... you didn't even send me a text to tell me! How do you think that makes me feel, WLW? Me! It's all about *me*! I'll have to dump Ben 4 now to get over it (I was thinking about it, anyway - he plays the violin. Loser.) Little Becky Big Mouth
You didn't get the fax?

'Zine Thing by Paper Truth

It is set to storm the charts, having clocked up 46 downloads. The upbeat music belies the dark contents of the lyric, with its undertones of lost love and bereavement. Not since the Bonzos allusion to "sweet essence of giraffe" has the ungulate been recognised in song. This reference is appropriate testimony to the leggy one's longevity. If you change some letters in "Paper Truth" it's an anagram of Tommy Cooper.

Getting the chop

Farewell, oh tall one and fellow nutters, parting is such sweet sorrow. A curse on Teletext Towers bosses. I bet they are ivory so they prefer elephants. Hugs and kisses, WLW. Resists temptation to say keep your chin up. Oh.
The Barking Tree

Take a bough TBT... Thankies for the gifts and wishes.

Tabby or not tabby?

We invented a cat puninator machine to make lots of cat puns for Mega-Zine and... other purposes, but we are really worried it is broken because lots of the puns are really paw, and lots of them are quite a meowth-ful too. We're not telling tall tails, it is such purrfect fun! It is the cat's pyjamas, with the cats, and the punnage, and the HOYVIN-GLAYVIN! Oh my!
The DeLorean and Little Blue Fox
Certainly claws for concern. But lets not get hissterical. Etc, etc.

Bye bye 'Zine

Saying goodbye to 'Zine is like [Eeek! - WLW] with Patricia Routledge. Awkward, unwanted, uncomfortable and full of thoughts on how things could get so bad. They have though. And she says there won't be another series of Hetty Wainthrop Investigates. Bye 'Zine. I'd lick your tears WLW, but I don't think I could reach. Think of my tongue.
Mancomb Seepgood
Never mind Hetty - what news on Hyacinth?

I snap sarnies now

Why I don't like sandwich photography. 1) Margarine doesn't work on the lens. 2) I'm on a night shift. 3) Mayonnaise looks like cherry tomatoes on film. 4) Most sandwiches are taking their own pictures nowadays, at a raised arm's length or in their bathroom mirrors. 5) I'm lactose intolerant but the butter just says I'm prejudiced. 6) There's a funny smell since I killed Leon. So I'm going to be a psychic.

Cue "should've seen that coming" jokes.

Not particularly happy with Mondo's but then I never am.
Glad Rose Timp's saga got to continue. I liked all the ones today, except Mondo's as I'm not that mad. Mancomb, what was the word that was bleeped? I like how WLW did that, made me laugh. Which was much needed.

Mal: Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us?

It probably was, I wonder if it's in the alternate 'Zine...

Does that mean he reads vr then?

Hopefully not. Colin sent a link to Paper Truth's myspace page the other day. Hope he doesn't find here. *crosses fingers*

VR hasn't had someone to gang up on for quite some time. I for one welcome our new forty year old aspergers suffering member.

Though I'm glad he seems to appreciate my music, Ray is as self-involved as ever, in his bubble where the Flaming Lips never happened, carefree to waste a sadly finite resource of a 'Zine page on such irrelevance.
He also manages to confuse 'downloads' with 'MySpace plays', but let's give the guy credit for attempting a cultural reference beyond the 1960s.
Some of the lines would be alright in a superior letter but, as always, Mondo lets his dreary, deluded self shine through in making a review of a fellow 'Ziner.

He refers to the '60s enough to imply that he was a young adult then.
