Alas, no new letters

There will be no Mega-Zine update today due to the weather. WLW telephoned Teletext Towers to say a sandstorm had blown in making it impossible to get to the office. Seems a ridiculous excuse but the boss has given him the benefit of the doubt.

My old school friend is getting married next week. You know, to a woman and everything. They have a house and proper jobs and there'll probably be kids at some point.

An unseasonably warm winter has meant Bill Oddie has come out of hibernation early, crawled out of the straw bedding and is attempting to do Springwatch too early. He isn't being filmed and it may have been a tragedy if his distress call hadn't been picked up by the other Goodies, who are on their way now, on the trandem, and will scoop Bill up and take them back to their nest for a well earned rest. Kate Humble is unaffected.
