The best guest ed speaks

Vigilante Maelstrom Many thanks for the Teletext T-shirt - finally, some attire to suit my pixellated, 3-bit colour physique.

Just don't ask what happens if you press 'reveal' on a TV remote.

Gareth, Llangollen Being "zany" and "random" and making references to Japan ain't funny.

Thanks for the "tips".

Jack-et in

There's a kind of jacket you have to wear if you want to join our club. It's big, beige and if you have many toes it's incredibly uncomfortable to wear. The writing across the back libels wildly about the wearer's sexuality. It's sad when I sit alone in the clubhouse nursing half a shandy, with only a surplus of beige jackets for company.

I read The Life of Galileo by Bertolt Brecht - Apparently, Mondo Ray is not the centre of the Universe. Who knew?

In a spin

I had to bring an exorcist to the police station the other day. When we walked in, we saw two policemen in the corner cowering in fear, while the other 18 of the policemen's heads were spinning round and speaking in tongues. I guess possession is 9/10ths of the law.
Colonial Foot Soldier

All that was missing was a reference to Japan.

Who is the boy who leapt through time?
I assumed that was Paddy till I got to the name.
The last one made me laugh out loud.

River Phoenix

i thought that Gareth's letter on Your TV Views yesterday was pathetic, so he's hardly in a position to advise people on how to be funny.

bloody hell, Miss Whiskers has fairly had the claws out lately

Also, it took me ages to understand the reply to Colonial Foot Soldiers letter. I must have erased Gareths letter from my mind the second I finished reading it
Mal: Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us?
Zoë: Big damn heroes, sir.
Mal: Ain't we just.

Oh gosh - it is me. I am sorry it is sort of horrible and silly a tiny bit. :-[
Also, James and Miss Whiskers and Colonial Foot Soldier's letters were all really good, I think.

It hurts too much not to try.
I will see you in another life when we are both cats.

I WISH I could come up with a letter like that. The last one made me chuckle silently. But thats the way I usually laugh anyway
