Said this in another thread but meh.

PJ Harvey takes it for me, again. Brilliant album from her - I'd say it's the best she's done in ages but that doesn't really wash cos I adore White Chalk and the last album she did with John Parish was rather good too,

Still Corners clock in a close second, wonderful shoegazy-alt-folk-electro-ambient-chillout kinda tackle. Sounds like a contemporary twist of the kind of stuff that was coming out on 4AD at the end of the 80s, and that's pretty f*cking cool if you ask me.

I really, really liked the Mogwai album as well.

Any other nominations, or am I just talking to myself again?

I honestly don't know if I listened to any albums released last year. Just kept collecting older stuff. I'd have to have a think about this.

I am very fond of music. It is like a meditation for my sole. According to me the best album is Metronomy - The English Riviera.‘The English Riviera’ is a deep sea of ideas and imagination: a far-flung, limitless dreamworld full of romance, nostalgia, lovers’ tiffs and good old-fashioned shagging. 'Bad as me' is also not bad either......................awesome music
