I don't dislike Know Your Enemy but it's not really something you listen to for leisure - A bit too long; gets a little tedious. It's no Sandinista!, though; that's a f*cking chore.
Lifeblood's fine for me.

Sky Blue Sky? A bit too dull and country for my liking. Others seem to appreciate it though. Certainly nothing compared to Yankee Hotel Foxtrot or A Ghost Is Born.

I haven't brought an album in ages. I'm just here to say I'm surprised none of the "Grammer Nazi Mods" haven't fixed the title yet.

How on earth did Mirrored by Battles make it into so many end of year lists? It's apalling.

Yes, it is. Almost as boring as the last Interpol album. F*ck knows how Battles could be so poor when their lead guitarist was in the excellent Don Caballero.

Fine Lines by My Vitriol (remember them? Tremendous band),

I f*cking love that album

The second one's supposed to be out soon as they had a single last year, although I can't help thinking it'll come out the same week as Chinese Democracy.

They're still together, I think Carolyn left but they got a new bassist. Every so often I see a gig listed in London, there's been talk of a second album for ages. Check out the War Of The Worlds single that was released last year.

Back on topic - Jakobinarina's The First Crusade. One of the most energetic bouncy albums of recent memory.
