Phonics- good until they brought out jeep.

Yeah I was a fanand even bought JEEP in woolies to get it the first day it came out. I've never been so dissapointed in an album.
A firm favourite for fake alibis and general practices.

Hate them. Really do. The only track I can stand of theirs is 'The Bartender and the Thief'.
I hope some day, for some reason, David Duchovny is investigated by the FBI. Because that would make a great story.

I don't mind them, but I have to hate them in principle for rereleasing JEEP a few months later with one extra track on it. That is only acceptable if it's 10+ years after it's first released or something like that. All bands who do this (especially in the first 2/3 years of an album being released) should be violently murdererd in a way which will cause them much pain. It only penalises fans who go out and buy the album when it's first released.

Yes, I'd forgotten. Honestly, it just seems like a big "f*ck you" to all the people who've already bought the album.

its not the band who put bonus tracks on albums, its the record companies...

Bands have a say in it. They could have easily said "No, we'll put in on the next album".

not necessarily... after all, the record companies do own the recordings so they can do anything they like with them.
anyway, they usually put extra tracks on albums to save new buyers from buying the singles as well as the album to hear them, not aimed at owners of the previous version.

They're a great chillin' band. I think JEEP wasn't their best album though.

They've deteriorated with each album sadly. Word Gets Around is great and one of the staples of my Upper School life, PERFORMANCE and Cocktails is alright, the second two were poor and very poor, and Kelly now fancies himself far too much to be taken seriously. Shame, really.
