randomness is a cure for nothing but randomness

What is it with Simple Plan? people always comparing them to Busted and the like. I know this would probably go in the rants section but I know talent when I see it. What you reckon am I wrong or what?

Everyone over here always seems to think they're a pop group or something but the proof is on Kerrang! and I just want to know peoples opinions... are they a semi-decent group or are they really a bunch of kiddies who fool about with big mans toys?

Yes, because whatever Kerrang! say should be taken as gospel truth...

Exactly what I was thinking.
To me they don't sound any different to much of the other "pop-punk" bands around today. Plus their lyrics are nonsense, they need to let go of all their teen angst.

Oh that fine upstanding magazine that is Kerrang, how i love it so.

Can't say i like simple plan at all, they seemed rather up their own arses when i met them and when talking to one of the bands they toured with apperently they were like that all the time towards them. Their music is nothing new, formula pop-punk.

i dunno it may just be me as i am reasonably anit pop-punk but i do like the song i'd do anything although it is quite pop-punk, and listening to it now (as i n right now) i can see why comparisons to busted are made, but i think maybe htey need to sit down with acoustic guitars etc..and puff pipes and maybe grow up a little and make some more mature music but i htink they can play and could be better than they are, yeah, if they were a little more experimental. i wan to here acoustic simple plan with out the over emphasised american/emo/pop-punk voice.

A firm favourite for fake alibis and general practices.
