You don't need lessons. Download a load of tabs off the internet and teach yourself, like I did.

Yes, but we're not all as talented as you Joel
I think it comes up to a point when you need lessons, or at least some help, instead of just purely teaching yourself.
I think you should go for it, Kim- if you think the lessons will stretch you more.
Good luck

'I've Been Embalmed!'

I used to have lessons, it was 15 quid. But im lazy so decided to just teach myself, im not that serious about it, so i prefer just to what i like when i like without paying, i just download tabs.
But if you want to learn the musical theory aswell as just learning tunes its best to have lessons!

I Love The Vegetable Revolution!

Hi guys

I found this while I was surfing and thought i'd let you know. I studied at the Guitar institute in London and gained a diploma after completeing the year course in 1995. I can supply references from currant pupils on request. Here are some testimonials;

Rob's so great I joined his band
Ian Brenchley, Marketing manager, Universal Records

Rob Chapman balances technical perfection with
passion and feeling, I couldnt recommend him more
Steve Lee, Marketing Director EMI Records

Can't think of a better man for the job
Dan Ruttley, Producer, Abbey Road Studios

Hope this helps. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have on audiohooker@yahoo.co.uk

And yes I agree the best way to learn is to teach yourself, my job is to kind of point the way.

Cheers

Rob Chapman
