the last album i bought was a long time ago, white stripes - white blood cells methinks.

Souvenirs - The Gathering

Not since SOAD's Toxicity has an album grabbed me by the throat and said "MUSIC CAN BE DONE LIKE THIS TO!!! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?". A truly outstanding album which is genuinely different to anything else I own. Wow. Fabulous lyrics, soundscapes, and Anneke has an incredible voice.

I'll admit that Further Down the Spiral is an aquired taste but for me it could possibly be the best NIN remix album. It also depends which version you got (there are 3 different ones). The American one has some great extra tracks ('The Beauty of Being Numb', 'Eraser-Polite').
