Flee from the truth

 
This is an old one of mine that is half decent that i have dug up... it emphasises my dislike of religion

We all stand by and watch
the heavens close
the firey gate of hell open
consuming the remaining angels

We all stand by and watch
as the fall to thier
eternal burning
as the demons from the depths emerge

We will all stand by and watch
as the world falls to pieces,
and the battle of heaven and hell comences,
hell drives forth moulding the earth with it.

Burn burn the truth, the lies, the news
Burn burn the life that you cant choose
Burn burn the hate that gets you through
Burn burn for us for them for you

some more old ones i wrote in mid teen angst:

Im dead to you,  
you have no clue,  

of pain i felt,  
i drove full pelt,  

into a wall,  
to end it all.  

but im still here,  
i shed no tear,  

i feel no pain,  
see no blood stain,  

no leaving for me,  
so i'll let it be.

When bordem has concealed all the soul,
it leaves no room for love and hope,
no decent future can be seen,
only a blank and empty spaces.

To hope and dream for a better world,
is wasted time as we can't be told,
i see crushed spirits, pain and madness,
for that is what is there
one dark mass beyond.

i hold a gun up to my head
and very soon i shall be dead,
a wound that is beyond repair
i shall leave the world without a care.

now no more pain is to be felt
down upon the floor i knelt,
life is to be taken away
and dead forever i will stay.
