PMs to the masses

If I try to send a PM to more than one person (the little username-search system is quite nifty), it invariably says this:

Error: You are trying to send a private message to too many users at once. This is being interpreted as possible spamming.

Of course, there's a longer way around which is little hassle, but is two too many?
